Toys and games of olden times, to remember, smile, dream and share...

Following the principle of 'One family, one shared memory', attics and nooks and crannies have been successfully explored by a number of Gueberschwihr families and collectors.
From board and educational games to collections (often perpetuated into adulthood: militaria, a taste for masquerade costume or live performances, hence a rare set of puppets and two superb opera costumes).

From dolls' houses to reading dolls, from Alsatian outfits to toys from other countries, materials and objects evolve.
Period toys and furniture: children's chairs, baby carriages, cradles, a small wooden wagon with outdoor games, are all part of the décor... not forgetting children's creations, such as this rough wooden rifle from a 'war of the buttons' between villages over 150 years ago. Who knows why!
